Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor, comedian, and activist. Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her acting career when she was a young girl, shortly after moving to the United States. In AT&T television commercials she played the character of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 until 2016 and into the year 2020. She also was a regular series regular on Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She was also an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). After being cast in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub, an Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. She and her parents left antisemitism at the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to financial difficulties in the family, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School, but dropped out after her sophomore year, she was able to get an GED and went to complete the Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. With the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied the art of improv comedy.
